    Liz Allbee – trumpet, electronics
    George Cremaschi – contrabass, electronics
    Jon Raskin – saxophones, electronics
Gino Robair – percussion, prepared piano, electronics

The quartet formed in March of 2005 and was the most significant group that I worked with outside of Rova for many years. Liz and George and I started as a trio jamming at George’s studio and when we started performing, we invited Gino to join us. This was the final recording session for this version of group with George Cremaschi before he moved to the Czech Republic.

We had covered a lot of ground over the preceding years exploring non-idiomatic improvisation, my graphic scores, and working with Konrad Steiner video creations all of which shows up in these tracks. By this time everyone in the group had an electronic setup which really enriched the sonic palate. I love the interactions between the acoustic and electronic instruments and the patience everyone has letting the music unfold. For me, it adds a wonderful orchestral feel and clarity to the music.
